Dates are my obsession, and I have to try every recipe with them... This truly tastes like a delicious fudgy brownie but made entirely from good ingredients. You can create so many variations, and we will definitely share a few more! <3
Ingredients:
220 g pitted dates
25 g oat flour (3 tbsp)
15 g cocoa powder (3 tbsp)
20 g protein powder (optional, 2 tbsp)
3-4 tbsp maple syrup, agave syrup, or honey
35 g almond butter
8 g salt (2 tsp, Celtic or Himalayan)
For the coating:
50 g chocolate of your choice
5 g coconut oil (1 tsp)
Optional topping:
Chopped nuts
Shredded coconut
Preparation:
Mix: Place the dates, oat flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, syrup, almond butter, and salt in a food processor. Blend until you get a sticky dough. If it's too dry, add a little more syrup.
Form: Roll the mixture into balls and place them on a plate.
Chocolate Coating: Melt the chocolate with the coconut oil using a double boiler or in the microwave (in short intervals).
Dip: Dip the balls into the melted chocolate and place them back on the plate.
Topping: Sprinkle chopped nuts or extra salt over the balls before the chocolate hardens.
Set: Let the chocolate harden in the fridge, and you’re done!
Enjoy! 🍫✨
X's,
Aimée
